Once Saved, Always Saved, But Are You Truly Saved?

I have been feeling the need to write a series of articles in these last days of the last days dealing with salvation, due to all the deception taking place in the world today.

To start things off, let me pose to you the situation that we are currently facing.

According to American Religious Identification Survey, 2001, 76.5% of America identifies with some form of Christianity in America. This study included Mormons and Jehovah’s Witness in among the title “Christian.” (1)

Now here is another study, one which I find very interesting by George Barna.

Barna Survey Examines Changes in Worldview Among Christians over the Past 13 Years

The Definition

“For the purposes of the survey, a “biblical worldview” was defined as believing that absolute moral truth exists; the Bible is totally accurate in all of the principles it teaches; Satan is considered to be a real being or force, not merely symbolic; a person cannot earn their way into Heaven by trying to be good or do good works; Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on earth; and God is the all-knowing, all-powerful creator of the world who still rules the universe today. In the research, anyone who held all of those beliefs was said to have a biblical worldview.”

The Conclusion

“The same questions were asked of respondents in national surveys by Barna in 1995, 2000 and 2005. The results indicate that the percentage of adults with a biblical worldview, as defined above, has remained unchanged for more than a decade. The numbers show that 7% had such a worldview in 1995, compared to 10% in 2000, 11% in 2005, and 9% now.” (2)

The numbers are going down with those who maintain a biblical worldview.

So my question is, how can you claim to be a Christian, when only 7% - 9% of America maintains a true biblical world view?

But here is a more interesting question, which percentage factor do you fall into; the 90% who do NOT hold to a biblical worldview or the 7%-9% who do?

Now to narrow this down even further, if you are part of the 7% -9% that maintains a biblical worldview, are you truly saved and how do you know / prove it?

The Strait Gate or The Wide Gate

I want to present to you some if not THE scariest verses to a Christian that there is in the bible. Folks, these verses should terrify you if you claim the title Christian.

Matthew 7:13 (KJV) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Matthew 7:14 (KJV) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:15 (KJV) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 7:16 (KJV) Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 7:17 (KJV) Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Matthew 7:18 (KJV) A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Matthew 7:19 (KJV) Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Matthew 7:20 (KJV) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 7:21 (KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:22 (KJV) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23 (KJV) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I have been doing a lot of study on Matthew 7. I have been reading commentaries, listening to sermons, ect. My conclusion is that Matthew 7 of God’s Word is one of the most profound chapters for Christians living in these last days of the last days.

The Profound facts are…

1. In Matthew 7 Christ was talking to and addressing professing believers and not the unbelievers as has been taught for the past 50 or so years.

2. That many who are claimed “Christian” and think they are believers, are in fact non-believers sold a lie and are destined to hell.

3. There are many wolves in sheep’s clothing deceiving and selling many the lie thus leading many to hell.

4. Nothing good at all comes from a false teacher… NOTHING.

5. Finally, it is not our acts / works / fruit that save us, it is our acts / works / fruit that prove we have been saved.

Are You Truly Saved And Walking The Way?

I am a person that stands on the fact that once a person is truly saved, they can not loose their salvation. In other words I stand on the doctrine of Eternal Security.

Eternal Security is the idea that once a person is truly saved, he can never lose his salvation.

The primary verses I stand upon are the following…

1 John 5:13 (KJV) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

John 6:37 (KJV) All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

John 6:39-40 (KJV) And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 10:27-28 (KJV) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

But here is the point that I am getting to with a question to consider. How does a person know he was ever saved in the first place?

I want to point back to Matthew 7:13-14

Matthew 7:13 (KJV) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Matthew 7:14 (KJV) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

If you read these two verses you see that there are actually two gates and two ways. You see, we have been teaching about the gate since the day of Pentecost, but it seems that in the last 50 or so years, we have forgotten to teach about The Way, which is also spoken of by Christ.

If you remember, my first profound point that I made about Matthew 7 is that Christ is addressing the professing believer / Christian and NOT the unbeliever or heathen. We know that this is fact due to the context Christ was speaking. Who else in the world’s religions truly call Jesus Christ “Lord Lord”? No one but a professing Christian. Not even the Mormons, who DO NOT admit to Jesus as THE LORD, but “a lord” and the same goes with many of the other cults out there that claim connections to Christianity.

So it is only the professing believer, as we read in context that Christ was addressing and talking about and who addresses Him as LORD.

So when we read in verse 13 about the Wide Gate and the Broadway, it is professing “Christians” who have entered that Wide Gate and are walking that Broadway.

But there is more. We learn in reading Matthew 7 about false teachers and how we are called to judge them by their fruit, but in reading, we see that we are judged by our fruit also.

Matthew 7:20 (KJV) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

See, that is the $500,000.00 question that has been forgotten these past 50 or so years.

How do we know people are Christians?

We know by the fact that they are walking upon the narrow way as Christ clearly teaches. It is by our fruit that we are producing. If we are walking upon the narrow way, we will produce fruit according to that path.

Another point, is that if you are truly born again the World will hate your fruit, but if you are a “Christiain In Name Only (C.I.N.O) then the world will love the fruit you are producing.

Examples of the Religious World Fruit…

- Fighting against Global Warming
- Fighting for equal rights for homosexuals (Sodomites) and Gay Marriage.
- Fighting for pluralism in the religious world.
- The end justifies the means.

Where we learn in scripture that the world loves it’s own and the love of the father is not in that person.

1 John 2:15-17 (KJV) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

But that is if we are walking The Narrow Way, our fruit is as follows…

- Obeying God’s Word and a thirst to learn the deeper things of God.
- Living a Holy and acceptable Life pleasing unto God
- Our love for the brethren, delight in church and fellowship
- Our desire not to sin and a life of continued repentance
- Judging all through the lens of God’s Word and not of the World.

To the world, those things above seem foolish and to the person walking the Broadway, these things seem impossible. You see we can not achieve those things listed unless we have the Holy Sprit working in our lives and the power of the Lord giving us His strength to do so on a daily basis.

The sad thing is that many believe we are on the Narrow Way, but we often forget the most terrifying part that Christ speaks of about this… FEW THERE BE THAT FIND IT.

How do we know that we are walking upon the narrow way?

James 2:14 -19 (KJV) What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Now note here that I am not talking about Salvation, also known as The Gate. I am addressing The Way. See there is a true salvation and a false salvation. Christ calls it the Wide Gate and the Strait Gate.

“For wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction and many there be which go in thereat.”

If you have chosen the false Christ – the wide gate – and you are walking upon the broad ways, you are leading a life destined to destruction believing you are one of God’s children, when in fact you have been lied to and believing a deception.

How do we know we are on The Narrow Way? We know because our life reflects a life growing more and more in Christ. We live a life where we have presented our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, not only in our public life, but our private life as well. We have not conformed to this world: but we were transformed by the renewing of our mind, that we may prove what is good, and acceptable, and the perfect will of God.

Let’s read what Romans 12:1-2 states…

Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

If you are walking on the narrow path you will naturally show an outward practical holiness as a mark of one saved by grace.

Let me be very clear here; I am also not talking being saved by works here either. One can not be saved by works, and in fact if someone tells you can get to heaven from works, run away from them as fast as you can. It is only through the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ which we are saved.

For Christ said…

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

It is Jesus and Jesus alone who is the Strait Gate. The problem is that many have chosen the Wide Gate thinking it is The Narrow Gate. That is because we preach about “The Gate”, but no longer “The Way.”

Living as a Changed Man or Living as a Filthy Pig?

Charles Spurgeon stated the following…

“The man who is born for heaven "hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity." All men have their joys, by which their souls are lifted up; the worldling lifts up his soul in carnal delights, which are mere empty vanities; but the saint loves more substantial things; like Jehoshaphat, he is lifted up in the ways of the Lord. He who is content with husks, will be reckoned with the swine. Does the world satisfy thee? Then thou hast thy reward and portion in this life; make much of it, for thou shalt know no other joy.”

Imagine that there is a pig and I am standing about 100 ft away. To one side is a beautiful 7 course dinner and to the other side is a large bucket of slop.

We release the pig and where is he going to run to? To the slop of course! Why? Because he is a pig and that is all that pigs know.

Now imagine if you will that we were able to change that pig into a man, all the while he is eating the slop. What will happen? Well the odds are that he will lift up his head and look around at his environment and then spit out the slop he was feeding upon when he was a pig. Why? Because he is no longer a pig that is able to feed upon slop, but a man needing a form of food to give him nutrition that he might live.

This man is now a new creature and is no longer a pig.

Now from time to time he may even have pig thoughts about the wonderful slop he once ate when he was a pig. He may even go to the slop bucket from time to time, smell it, look at it. But the moment he feeds upon it what will happen? He will spit it out because he is no longer a pig but a man. Even if he as a man he forces himself to eat the slop, which men are able to do, it will eventually cause him to vomit it all up and make him sick possibly unto death because his body no longer accepts slop because he is a new creature.

Now if one thinks he is a man and can still stomach the slop day in and day out, what makes him think he was changed into a new creature in the first place? If he is feeding upon the slop of the world and does not get sick to his stomach, maybe he was never changed into new creature in the first place and to this day remains a pig.

Scripture says…

2Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Ephesians 5:5(KJV) For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Hebrews 12:6(KJV) For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

When we are truly converted, we can no longer stomach the slop of the world, the fleshly sin that we once indulged in. When we entertain the sin, and all of us do from time to time, it makes us sick with guilt and shame because it is the Holy Spirit working in our lives chastening us from the inside out because God loves us as His children. Scripture says that God chastens His own.

…That my friend is part of walking The Narrow Way.

What you need to fear, is if you are living a double life and living in sin; AND… God does not chasten you. You may ask, how do you know God is chastening you? Oh believe me you will know. Your life will be absolutely miserable, that is until you repent and get back on the narrow path. But more importantly, you as one of His children KNOWS that you are called to repent and a refusal to do so is rebellion unto the Lord. Your own heart, soul and mind call you to repent, but you may choose to still run. Friend; God will let you run, but for only a short distance, then he will chastise you, bringing you to your knees and bringing you back as His own.

My friend, if you do not have God working and changing and chastening you in your life and you are claiming to be a Christian, you need to rethink your salvation and ask if you are truly saved in the first place.

There is no such thing as a Carnal Christian living long periods in the world. If you are, you are not saved. God does not let you run very long if you are one of His and if you are one of His, you know this for a fact because you yourself have experienced exactly what I am stating and you know it is true.

If your ways are not His ways and you do not feel God’s Hand chastening your life, odds are that you are not born again and are just one of those who checked of a box, raised a hand and that is about all. You are one who has walked throw the Wide Gate and is upon the Broadway bound for hell.

You have no fruit showing that your life has been changed by Christ. Instead your life reflects that of the world and a love for the world. It is the worldly music you listen to, the sex driven TV shows you watch the things of the world you indulge in. They are not the ways of the Lord, but the ways of the world. In fact you are like the many, indulging in the world, your sin, the flesh and walking upon the broad way which leads to hell and your fruit show it.

How Do I Know That I Am Truly Saved And Walking Upon The Narrow Way?

First John lists ways we can know that we are one of God’s elect…

(1) If we keep His commandments

1 John 2:3 (KJV) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

(2) If we keep His Word

1 John 2:4 (KJV) He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him

(3) if we walk in love

1 John 2:5 (KJV) But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

(4) If we love the brethren

1 John 3:14 (KJV) We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death

(5) If we love in deed, not only in word

1 John 3:19 (KJV) And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

(6) If we have the Holy Spirit within us

1 John 3:24 (KJV) And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

(7) If we love one another

1 John 4:13 (KJV) Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

(8) If we don’t continue in sin

1 John 5:18 (KJV) We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Walking through the gate, is the first part, but we must make sure WHICH gate it is that we have truly walked through and this is why Matthew 7 is one of the most terrifying chapters in all of scripture.

Christ said the following…

Matthew 13:3 (KJV) And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

Matthew 13:4 (KJV) And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

Matthew 13:5 (KJV) Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

Matthew 13:6 (KJV) And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

Matthew 13:7 (KJV) And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

Matthew 13:8 (KJV) But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Matthew 13:9 (KJV) Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

If you are truly saved, you are as the good ground that brought forth good fruit, but if you are not, the seed that was sown was cast upon stony place, where the sun scorched or among the thorns. All of that seed did not produce good fruit and in all cases withered away and died.

What did Christ tell us?

Matthew 7:20 (KJV) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

If you have gotten this far with me and are asking yourself “ Are You Saved?” You need to examine yourself.

Do you love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind? Do you obey His commandments? When someone looks at you, do they see the world or do they see someone who reflects a life of Christ?

OR… do you make excuses and tell half truths about yourself.

Folks, a half truth is a full lie and you are not fooling anyone, but more than that, God knows and you are not fooling Him either.

Folks, if you are not saved, it is true that you can fake a lot of this. But as we have seen by many of the false teachers out there, it is only for a season and sooner or later they fall and their true secret lives are reveled. What do you do when you are alone and no one is watching? What are your private pet sins that you indulge in and truly enjoy? What “Christian” masks do you wear, fooling those around you and even yourself?

Romans 8:5-8 (KJV) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (KJV) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

1Peter 1:15-16 (KJV) But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

1John 2:3-6 (KJV) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

I pray to continue this series as the Lord leads me. I am deeply concerned about the church today. Many have chosen the Broadway because that is what they have been taught. The sad thing is that it is a lie that leads to hell.

But more importantly, you need to sit yourself down right here and right now and really examine yourself.

Scripture says…

2 Corinthians 13:5 (KJV) Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

After that, ask yourself…

Who Do You Serve?

Jesus stated the following…

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If you do not have Christ in your life, you will spend eternity in hell. This is a fact. It does not matter if you believe this or not, it is the truth spoken by Jesus himself. If your name is not written in the Lambs Book of Life you will go to hell for what you have not done and that is accepting Christ as your personal savior. To be placed in the Lamb Book of Life, you need to turn your life completely over to Him. Having “head” knowledge or “just believing in Christ” is not the same as having “heart” knowledge with Christ living in your heart. Even the “devils” believe in God.

James 2:19 (KJV) Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

We work hard at Prophezine to show that Bible Prophecy is coming to pass. Because of this fact, we know that the Bible is true. Since the Bible is the true and is the inerrant word of God, there is a heaven and there is a hell.

If you claim the title of “Christian” then take account of yourself this day. Many claim the title, but we read in God’s Word that the title does not get you into heaven.

Matthew 7:21 (KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 7:22 (KJV) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23 (KJV) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Who you serve will determine where you will spend eternity. If you are not serving Christ and a true child of God, then you are serving Satan and a child of the enemy.

If you are not 110% sure, then take account of yourself, your very life depends upon it.

1John 1:9 (KJV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

False Teachers & Preachers IS God's Judgment Upon The Church

I wanted to let you know that I have just posted to the Prophezine homepage an incredible video by Paul Washer.

Folks, you want to know why this nation is going down the tubes? Paul Washer, in this video titled “Joel Osteen – It’s Just The Truth.” states the facts, that these false teachers and preachers are God’s judgment on this post Christian nation and in fact this world.

This is a hard preaching and teaching. If you can not handle the heat, then don’t bother watching. I don’t want to get any emails saying that I am just some mean guy and that Rick Warren, Joel Osteen and the other wolves in sheep’s clothing are the good guys doing a great job.

These so called preachers - wolves in sheep's clothing are doing one thing and one thing only… leading people to hell.

Our nation is in turmoil because we as Christians have gotten away from God and the truth that Christ died, shed his blood and rose the third day. Our nation is in turmoil today because nobody knows that they are sinners in need of a savior. Our nation is in turmoil because preachers are no longer preaching that people are going to hell.

My latest article titled “C.I.N.O = Christians in Name Only and God’s Word” ruffled a few feathers out there and upset some folks. Well, folks have had enough sugar coated talk, they need to hear the truth.

Here are some comments I wanted to share about our work here at Prophezine.

Ray: The gate to hell is wide and the gate to Heaven is narrow, and few there be that find it. I can identify with your feelings re CINO's. I get them coming against me ALL the time if I even try to quote scripture (in a very loving way too, I might add). The most frequent saying I get is "you shouldn't be so judgmental; God loves us no matter what".

WHO States Swine Flu Could Cause Pandemic

The Swine flu virus that has had an outbreak in Mexico, has crossed the boarder.

Cases have been reported in California and in Texas.

"It has pandemic potential," Margaret Chan, the director-general of the World Health Organization, told reporters during a telephone briefing. "It is infecting people."

What is a Pandemic?

It is medical epidemic (a disease)that spreads over a wide geographic area and affecting a large proportion of the population.

Already over 60 people have died due to the flu in Mexico and eight cases have already contracted the disease in the US.

In Mexico the situation has been startlingly severe, with more than 800 cases of pneumonia in the capital alone that are suspected to be related to the swine flu.

We as students of bible prophecy know that this is one of the signs of the times that Jesus spoke about.

Matthew 24:7(KJV) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Luke 21:11 (KJV) And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Dr Chan continued in the interview...

"The situation is evolving quickly," Chan said. "We do not yet have a complete picture of the epidemiology or the risk, including possible spread beyond the currently affected areas. Nonetheless, in the assessment of WHO this is serious situation that must be watched very carefully."

It's within the power of WHO to recommend nations declaring an international public health emergency. If the Swine Flu was declared a health emergency, this situation could have major global implications on travel and trade.

As I have stated, we as students of bible prophecy should understand that this sort of thing is of no surprise and should be prepared for the situation both mentally, physically and spiritually.

In any situation, we should be prepared and ready to share the Gospel. Specially in times of distress. But to do that, we ourselves need to have thought ahead and prepared ourselves.

When 9-11 took place, many people sought out churches, pastors and Christians.

Unbelievers soon asked for prayer and sought out the Lord.

During the hurricanes in the south, churches opened their doors and many came to the Lord. In fact we have a wonderful Christian woman who did not go back to the stricken area has stayed here at our church. But during those hard times our church opened her doors.

So as students of bible prophecy we are able to read the writing on the wall and then do what we can do to position ourselves for service with the gifts and talents God has given us to better His kingdom.

Right now the "pandemic alert level" is sitting at "LEVEL 3" which means the risk of the virus spreading from person to person is limited. But that can change at a moments notice. All it takes is just one person contracting the disease and spreading it to everyone they come in contact with.

Now imagine if that person goes to an airport to catch a flight, rides a subway or bus, goes to a shopping mall at lunchtime.

How does the flu spread?

"The main way that influenza viruses are spread is from person to person in respiratory droplets of coughs and sneezes. (This is called "droplet spread.") This can happen when droplets from a cough or sneeze of an infected person are propelled (generally up to 3 feet) through the air and deposited on the mouth or nose of people nearby. Though much less frequent, the viruses also can be spread when a person touches respiratory droplets on another person or an object and then touches their own mouth or nose (or someone else’s mouth or nose) before washing their hands. "

Dr Chan of WHO noted that....

"It has pandemic potential because it is infecting people. However we cannot say on the basis of currently available laboratory, epidemiologic and clinical evidence whether or not it will indeed cause a pandemic,"

Folks, we are watchmen on the wall, we are the early defense and responsible to warn the body. We have a chance now to do something. If this does develope into a pandemic, then at that time it will be far to late to react. Even if there is nothing to come out of this, it is better to be prepared as best as one can than to not be prepared at all. We prepare not only to help our own familes, but to position ourselves for service to the Lord and the sharing of the gospel in these last days of the last days.

The Right Life for the Last Days

For some time now I have had the burden to tell people to get their lives on the strait and narrow. It grieves me that there are so many people out there claiming the title Christian, but have come to their “faith” through a false gospel; which in turn means that they are not saved.

Half truths equals a full lies.

I was sent an encouraging email by PZ Insider Susan commenting on my article Christ or the Canaanites…

Your article reminded me of what Paul wrote Timothy in 2 Timothy chapter 3.

If you weren't under attack then I'd be wondering what you were doing wrong. The battle is heating up, so gird yourself, because Paul said "evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.....and to continue in the things you have learned and have been assured of......." 2 Tim 13-14

Did you catch what 2Timothy 3:13 Said?

“Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”

Folks; the gospel is being watered down. It is the pure Word of God and the pure Gospel that saves.

Today we are seeing a complete opposite of that. What is being taught today is that all roads lead to Jesus and that you can find Jesus just about anywhere.

The latest craze is using worldly methods to share the gospel.

When one uses a watered down form to share Jesus, one is NOT sharing the Jesus of the Bible. You may be sharing about someone with the same name, the issue is that you are not sharing about the same person, the biblical Jesus.

If one is not sharing the Jesus of the bible, then one is not sharing Jesus Christ.

You can not use darkness to share the light.

2John 1:9-11 (KJV) Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him Godspeed: 11 For he that biddeth him Godspeed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Here is a short list of what people try to use, but fail.

You cannot use witchcraft and the love of Harry Potter books to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You cannot use Yoga and Yoga for kids (pagan religious practices) to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You cannot use Healing and practicing Reiki (wizardry) to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You cannot use Feng Shui (occultic lay lines and earth magic) to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You cannot use Walking the Labyrinth (Celtic paganism) to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You cannot use Contemplative prayer – (Transcendental Meditation - TM) to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You cannot use Tai Chi and other forms of “Christian” martial arts (eastern mysticism, tapping into the “chi”) to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You cannot use the return of the Liturgy (vain repetitions) to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You cannot use the return of candles, icons and incense (items to help focus the will AKA witchcraft) to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You cannot use the return of the worship of saints, mother Mary and of Angels (other gods, idol worship) to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You cannot use pornography (fornication) to share the gospel of Jesus Christ

You cannot use sex and sensuality to share the gospel of Jesus Christ

You cannot use worldly music to share the gospel of Jesus Christ

Folks with the advent of all these false practices and teachings, heresies and apostasies invading the church, one can see why there are so many who are confused today.

But more than that, one can see why there are many who are not true Christians.

When one only shares half the truth, it is still a full lie.

There are many who are deceiving and being deceived. There is a massive growth of evil men and seducers sharing the false gospel and lies. Interesting fact, many of these people believe their own lies and in themselves are deceived.

But you know what? It isn’t going to get any better, in fact we learn that this cancer is going to wax worse and worse in the church today.

And here is the real sad issue, if you do not know your bible; you increase your chances of falling for the deception, if you have not done so already.

I gave you a short list, and it truly is a short list of things these evil men and seducers are using today to cause people to think they are doing good, but in the long run, they are turning people’s hearts to false gods.

Note here what 1 Kings 11:2 says….

1Kings 11:2 (KJV) Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon cleaved unto these in love.

Let’s break this down a bit…

“Of the nations concerning which the LORD…. the LORD said unto the children of Israel,”

Here God is talking to Israel and His children. If you have accepted Christ as your savior you are His Child. So this is addressed to you too.

“Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods:”

This seems very clear, we are not to partake of the world, nor are you to have the world come into your life because when you do, you turn your hearts away from the Lord and then walk after the world.

Psalms 1:1 (KJV) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

If you notice in this verse, the “man” spoken of here is taking a progression of sin.

First he chooses to become part of the world by walking with the world, then listens to the world and their seductive ways. He then stands with the world, they have his ear and he is actively listening. Then he sits with the world and has become fully entrenched, he is no longer in fellowship with the Lord, even when he may think he is, he has chosen the world.

The progression of the man we read about in Psalms 1:1 is very smooth and slick. It can also be very quick in trapping the man in the ways of the world.

Reminder….

Folks, we are living in the last days. There are some disturbing verses that point out a very critical issue….

Not many who claim the title are going to heaven in these last days.

Matthew 7:14 (KJV) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:20-23 (KJV) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

There are many who make claims using the world’s standards to defend themselves.

Maybe you have heard some the following excuses; maybe you have even made some of these excuses yourself.

“Look how many people there are, this must be good”

“He is a top author, so his teaching must be right”

“His business says “Christian” on it, so it must be good”

“She has John 3:16 painted on her studio wall, it must be good”

”It is just exercise or it is just a __________, I am not worshipping their god(s)”

But one that is the most dangerous because when used, it shuts people up, is

“I am telling others about Christ, or I share the Gospel”

The biggest deception…

"I have led others to Christ through _______________ (fill in the blank).”

These excuses beg the question “What Gospel are you selling them and what Jesus are you promoting”

If it is not the Scriptures then it is false; period!

If you are using the world to share the gospel then you are sharing a diluted down false gospel.

Half Truths Equal Full Lies!

Either you believe fully in the Scriptures or you believe man.

There is only one standard and that is the solid Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV) All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Timothy 3:17 (KJV) That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

If you do not stand fully on God’s word, you are not “thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” If you are not “thoroughly furnished unto all good works”, then you are not sharing the pure gospel of Jesus Christ.

When one only shares half the truth, it is still a full lie.

Folks, there is no middle ground, grey area or fudge room when the Word of God clearly commands us to abstain from even the appearance of evil; to not practice the ways of the pagans, to stay away from evil associations. God is very clear about the consequences, yet multitudes are following evil men deceiving and being deceived.

Please take the time and read what God’s word says…

1 John 2:15-17 -- "love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of god abideth for ever."

1 Corinthians 10:21 (KJV) Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

1 Thessalonians 5:22 (KJV) "abstain from all appearance of evil."

Romans 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

James 4:4 (KJV) ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with god? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of god.

Proverbs 1:15 (KJV) My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:

Proverbs 4:14 (KJV) Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.

John 15:19 (KJV) If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

In conclusion, I leave you with this final warning from God’s Word …

Isaiah 8:20 (KJV) "to the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."

Who Do You Serve?

Jesus stated the following…

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If you do not have Christ in your life, you will spend eternity in hell. This is a fact. It does not matter if you believe this or not, it is the truth spoken by Jesus himself. If your name is not written in the Lambs Book of Life you will go to hell for what you have not done and that is accepting Christ as your personal savior. To be placed in the Lamb Book of Life, you need to turn your life completely over to Him. Having “head” knowledge or “just believing in Christ” is not the same as having “heart” knowledge with Christ living in your heart. We know that even the devils believe in Him, where are they spending eternity?

James 2:19 (KJV) Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

We work hard at Prophezine to show that Bible Prophecy is coming to pass. Because of this fact, the Bible is true. Since the Bible is the true and inerrant word of God, there is a heaven and there is a hell.

If you claim the title of “Christian” then take account of yourself this day. Many claim the title, but we read in God’s Word that the title does not get you into heaven.

Matthew 7:21(KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:22(KJV) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23(KJV) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Who you serve will determine where you will spend eternity. If you are not serving Christ and a true child of God, then you are serving Satan and a child of the enemy.

If you are not 110% sure, then take account of yourself, your very life depends upon it.

1John 1:9 (KJV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Crashing Times of Crisis

Well we just past the 60 day mark for Obama as our president. I am amazed at everything he is doing, and not in a good way.

Many speculated, even myself that he would do the standard wait for his first four years to be over then push through what he wanted.

Nope, no waiting here.

Just in the last sixty days he has signed an Executive Order reversing Bush's stand on stem cell research.

He is spending this nation very quickly into a 4th world nation via his "stimulus" bill.

He and his democrat buds are trying to make gardening and raising livestock for one’s own use against the law HR 875, while all the time Michelle Obama plants her own little garden at the white house.

Create (reinstate with more regulation) a draconian gun ban; which almost outlaws everything except a black powder flint lock and musket.

Recanted the ban on abortions overseas and is now footed by the tax payer.

Sending millions to Israel’s enemies and helping them build a terrorist training camp.

This is just a short list, there is a lot more that could be covered.

He is doing a fine job of literally killing this nation. In fact I would be very surprised that this nation is still this nation by the end of his first four years and it is replaced with a Marxist socialist form of government.

Folks, I bring all of this up because most likely laws will be created to shut the mouths of Christians and in most cases make the Christian a second rate citizen.

On September 17 2003, Canada's House of Commons passed a bill that adds sexual orientation as a protected category in Canada's genocide and hate-crimes legislation. The bill criminalized public expression, including Sunday sermons, against homosexual behavior. Those convicted of violating the new law face up to five years in prison.

Canada has already been prosecuting pastors and Christians who are standing upon scripture.

Do you know that there was a time when the bible was banned and burned by none other than the Christian Church itself?

"Canon 14. We prohibit also that the laity should not be permitted to have the books of the Old or New Testament; we most strictly forbid their having any translation of these books." - The Church Council of Toulouse 1229 AD Source: Heresy and Authority in Medieval Europe,Scolar Press, London, England copyright 1980 by Edward Peters, ISBN 0-85967-621-8, pp. 194-195

The Council of Tarragona of 1234, in its second canon, ruled that:

"No one may possess the books of the Old and New Testaments, and if anyone possesses them he must turn them over to the local bishop within eight days, so that they may be burned..." - The Church Council of Tarragona 1234 AD; 2nd Cannon - Source : D. Lortsch, Historie de la Bible en France, 1910, p.14.

Pope Pius IV had a list of the forbidden books compiled and officially prohibited them in the Index of Trent (Index Librorum Prohibitorum) of 1559.
This is an excerpt :

"Whoever reads or has such a translation in his possession... cannot be absolved from his sins until he has turned in these Bibles...Books in the vernacular dealing with the controversies between Catholics and the heretics of our time are not to be generally permitted, but are to be handled in the same way as Bible translations..." - Rule IV & Rule VI Die Indices Librorum Prohibitorum des sechzehnten Jahrhunderts (Tübingen, 1886), page 246f. Can you imagine the seeker sensitive church today, which stands with Obama and the rest of this pluralistic world, turning against bible believing Christians?

I can and as I have pointed out above, it has happened before.

J. Vernon McGee, one of my favorite pastors and a student of Bible Prophecy stated that eventually the Christian church in America will have to go underground and that the attack against them will come from denominational churches.

With all the modern versions of the bible out there, I can honestly see the powers that be out law only one bible, the King James Version. The KJV is what I use and what I stand upon and I have many issues with modern versions. Some of you may disagree with me, but the way God’s word speaks to me through the KJV is like none other. There is power and conviction in the KJV that I do not see in any other version of the bible out there.

I do not know if you really realize something. The enemy has done a very good job of watering down the truth and has caused millions to say “hath God said” and even caused many to not even have the need to pick up God’s Word at all anymore.

It amazes me how many pastors no longer ask their congregation to “open God’s Word with me and go to___________”

Why should they when they have everything on an overhead projector.

What amazes me more is how many pastors use multiple versions to get their point across.

Want to make homosexuality ok, use the “gay bible.”

Want to make paganism and goddess worship ok, use the “gender neutral” bible

Got a pet sin, there is a bible out there that will help you condone that sin before man.

The church is in very bad shape, and they have forgotten their first love.

But those who have not forgotten their first love are now being persecuted and some are now giving their lives for the Lord all over the world.

How much longer do we have here in this nation before it is against the law to own and read God’s Word and be a bible believing Christian?

But what really stands out in my mind, how many people who claim the title will capitulate and go along with it?

That is what frightens me.

H.R. 875 Rides A Black Horse

United States Representative Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) has proposed legislation, H.R. 875, which would literally prohibit Americans from raising food for themselves, their families, or even for their animals, without the national government's permission!

H.R. 875, the so-called Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009 (FSMA) sounds innocent enough at first blush, with language purporting to "protect the public health by preventing food-borne illness, ensuring the safety of food, improving research on contaminants leading to food-borne illness, and improving security of food from intentional contamination, and for other purposes." In reality, the FSMA is an extensive and all-controlling abomination that must be stopped!

The FSMA mandates registration of every "food production facility," which the bill defines as "any farm, ranch, orchard, vineyard, aquaculture facility, or confined animal-feeding operation;" and every "food establishment," which the bill defines as "a slaughterhouse..., factory, warehouse, or facility owned or operated by a person located in any State that processes food or a facility that holds, stores, or transports food or food ingredients."

In the last several months I have been seeing a drastic increase in the cost of food. Milk is sitting at $4.25 a gallon, Cheese has gone up $2.00 for a quarter pound block and butter is sitting at $4.65 a box.

Folks, we are coming to the end of the age. We are beginning to see the foundations that have been put in place, start to take effect.

During the tribulation we know that food will become scarce and the cost will sky rocket.

We read in Revelation 6:5-6…

Revelation 6:5 – 6 (KJV) And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Christ himself stated..

Matthew 24:8 (KJV) All these are the beginning of sorrows.

In this Christ was speaking of wars, rumors of wars, false Christ’s, earthquakes, famines, pestilences. He was speaking about now, the end of the age.

Matthew 24:7 (KJV) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

When one does a study on this verse we learn that he is using verbiage which equates to that of a woman about to give birth, or the birth pangs as it is commonly stated.

Birth pangs do not slow down, ask any mother, she will attest to the fact that they increase in strength and timing. They get harder and more painful as well as coming more frequently.

Forget Oil, the New Global Crisis is Food

BMO strategist Donald Coxe warns credit crunch and soaring oil prices will pale in comparison to looming catastrophe.

A new crisis is emerging, a global food catastrophe that will reach further and be more crippling than anything the world has ever seen. The credit crunch and the reverberations of soaring oil prices around the world will pale in comparison to what is about to transpire, Donald Coxe, global portfolio strategist at BMO Financial Group said at the Empire Club's 14th annual investment outlook in Toronto on Thursday.

"It's not a matter of if, but when," he warned investors. "It's going to hit this year hard."

Mr. Coxe said the sharp rise in raw food prices in the past year will intensify in the next few years amid increased demand for meat and dairy products from the growing middle classes of countries such as China and India as well as heavy demand from the biofuels industry.

"The greatest challenge to the world is not US$100 oil; it's getting enough food so that the new middle class can eat the way our middle class does, and that means we've got to expand food output dramatically," he said.

The impact of tighter food supply is already evident in raw food prices, which have risen 22% in the past year.

In this article Mr.Coxe is pointing out the production of biofuel / biodiesel is one of his primary concerns. If you do not know, biofuel / biodiesels are produced by using corn, wheat, sugar beets, ect. Many of the grains and produce used to make biofuel / biodiesel is also the same thing we use to feed the livestock thus promoting a healthy food supply.

Living here on the Gano Ranch, we have seen this directly as well as having an effect on us as these prices go up. In fact this was my main topic for this week’s Prophezine’s This Week In Bible Prophecy Show.

We have noticed the cost of our chicken feed going up and even our dog food, which is also predominately made from grains.

With the continued cost of rising livestock feed going up, the products such as meat, diary, poultry and eggs are also going up.

Soon the rule of supply and demand will impact us. But which demand will win out? Will the demand to run our machinery win or will the demand to feed our livestock win.

No matter what, in the end, we learn that food will become scarce.

Masonic Luciferianism

Recently I wrote a rather lengthy article titled “My Name is Lucifer.” You would not believe the emails I got from people believing that I was actually making that claim. Over the next month or two I want to start delving deeper into all the cults, organizations, religions, ect that I covered.

The followers of Lucifer have many names for their god and soon all of them will wake up and realize that they all worship their “one true god.” They will also realize that they have also worshipped him throughout the ages.

When the light bulb goes off, they will realize that their “one true god” is Lucifer, not Jehovah.

When they realize that, it will be open hunting season for Christians and Jews. We know that this is a fact because scripture tells us of the millions of martyrs during the tribulation. You know what I am pointing out is true, even today you see Lucifer’s name emerging everywhere in the world.

In my recent article "My Name is Lucifer I noted that Freemasons, one of the oldest secret societies whose origins can be dated back to Babylon, utilize the symbols of the crescent moon and morning star in many of their ceremonies and rituals.

Crescent Moon And Morning Star?

You keep talking about the crescent moon and morning star, what do you mean by that Ray?

Isaiah 14:12 (KJV) How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

The name Lucifer in Hebrew is HEYLEL (read : hay-lale'). According to Strong Dictionary it means (in the sense of brightness); the morning star: - Lucifer.

The word HEYLEL in Hebrew has the same meaning in Arabic, that being the word HILAL.

HILAL in Arabic is in fact associated with the crescent moon, first developed in pre- Islamic Arabia.

Here is a simple exercise, go to GOOGLE Images (http://images.google.com) and type in HILAL and MOON, see what you get.

What you will see in many of the pictures is a very slight crescent moon that is first visible after a new moon. Muslims look for the Hilal when determining the beginning and end of Islamic months.

In modern times, Hilal was connected with the later Monotheistic deity of Allah. The worshipping of Allah is always connected to the moon, and through the eye of the Scripture we all know that HEYLEL (Hebrew) or HILAL (Arabic) is in fact one in the same.

Heylel Ben Shachar is Lucifer or Satan. And from the Scripture we also know that the worshipping of Allah is the worshipping of the moon god and also the worshipping of Lucifer.

Freemasons implement the name of Lucifer, Crescent moon / Star in much of what they do. The Shriners, which to join you must attain the level of 32 degree Mason, is steeped in Islamic / Middle Eastern symbolism. Their crest or logo is an inverted crescent moon with a star inside of it. Now the Shriners claim that these are “claws” and not a crescent moon, but we need to remember who we are dealing with, Lucifer the great deceiver. He hides in plain site and yet no one sees him.

You will note above some famous Shriners, all 32 Degree Masons, with the Crescent Moon and Morning Star sitting upon their forehead; as the Fezz (their hat) being be properly worn.

Where have you seen the name of Lucifer? Keep an eye out for the symbol of his name… The Crescent Moon and the Morning Star.
