What Wicked Things I Have Done?

"What wicked things have I done that evil men speak well of me."

Boy did that one hit me hard.

It gave me pause for thought in hopes that evil men are not speaking well of me.

Do evil men speak well of you?

We had a men's "Steak Out" this last Saturday. "Steak Out" is a time for the men of the church to get together, be carnivores eating steak, and have some great fellowship.

At our "Steak Out" we had a great guest speaker,  Bill Green, missionary to the deaf in Mexico.

He gave a great message on protecting one's self. Protecting your heart, protecting your mind, protecting your tongue and protecting your actions.

His scripture that was the basis of his talk was Pslams 141.

Psalms 141:1-8 (KJV)  A Psalm of David. LORD, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

2  Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

3  Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

4  Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

5  Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

6  When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.

7  Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.

8  But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

9  Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.

10  Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

But the verse that really stuck out for me was verse 9…

9  Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.

Daily the enemy lays snares and traps for us to step into.

This is why it is so important that we as Christians keep our guard up at all times.

But not only protect what is inside, but protect what others see as well, that being our witness.

Folks, we are living in the last days of the last days. Evil is spreading like a cancer and we must watch our every step.

1 Peter  5:8 (KJV)  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Brother Bill told us a story that hit us right in the heart of a fellow Christian he knew which also emphasized as to why all of us need to protect ourselves.

This man was a good man and a solid believer. Regular at church, was involved, well respected, loved the Lord.

Well the day came where it was his birthday. He was well liked at work and the guys threw a surprise party for him at work.

What he did not know is that with the bosses approval, they brought in a stripper.

What he also did not know was that there was a video camera as well and all his actions were caught on tape.

This man let his guard down and became snared in the trap. The roaring lion caught his prey that day.

This poor man forgot to protect his heart, mind and soul. But more than that, he also forgot to protect his witness.

Here was once a credible man who's witness has been tarnished, possibly for the rest of his life.

"Hey Bill, you really shook your booty with that stripper on your birthday… You’re the man!!"

"What wicked things have I done that evil men speak well of me."

Don't give evil men the chance to speak well of you.

Over and over again Paul tells us how to combat sin. We don't, we are to flee from it.

1 Timothy 6:11 (KJV)  But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

1 Corinthians 10:14 (KJV)  Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

1 Corinthians 6:18 (KJV)  Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

2 Timothy 2:22 (KJV)  Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

You see, there is no winning against our enemy the Devil. Life is not some Charlie Daniels song about winning against the devil in a fiddling contest.

Folks,  sin always destroys and the only way to win against sin is to flee from it as fast as you can.

What should that man have done?

He should have taken a lesson from Joseph and ran…

Gen 39:7-12 (KJV)  And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.

8  But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;

9  There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

10  And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her.

11  And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within.

12  And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.

When you play in the Devils playground you will ALWAYS get dirty. There is no playing with sin.

There is also not a single one of us who are "strong Christians" that we can go up against the enemy in battle and win. Sin always destroys…sin kills.

1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV)  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

The way to escape sin is to run from it and run to our Lord. In fact the best way to not encounter sin, is to not even give the enemy a foothold. 

Speaking to the men here. Men, summer is coming and with that comes the scantily dressed women. when you are walking around and you see some of these scantily dressed woman, turn your head and avert your eyes. Don't take the second look and if you have to turn 180 degrees and put your backs to them until they pass.  This is what I do. Don’t even give sin the chance to plant the seed. Not only are you protecting yourself, you are protecting and honoring your wife as well.

Protect your heart, protect your mind, protect what you see and hear all around you. Keep your guard up because our enemy the Devil has traps and snares waiting for us at every turn.

We are living in the last days of the last days and evil is around us everywhere. When we are confronted with sin… RUN and run fast. Don’t  think you are John Wayne and you can fight the sin. Sin will always get the best of you.

But most of all, protect what others see, that is your witness. You may be the only "Bible" that people have the chance to read.

Scripture says…

Ephesians 6:19-20 (KJV)  And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20  For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

We are ambassadors to this world on behalf of the King of Kings. When we sin and the world sees it, not only do we bring shame upon ourselves and our witness, we bring shame upon the King of Kings and Lord of Lords who gave His all so that we may live. It is our reasonable service unto Him.

Scripture says…

Romans 12:1-2 (KJV)  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Don’t give evil men the chance to speak well of you.

God's Favor is Leaving This Land

It would seem that we would get the hint.

I mean look around at what is going on here in the US.

* High Unemployment

* Cost of food going up

* Gas going up

* Huge oil leak in the gulf which will devastate the people living on the gulf

* Floods in Nashville

* Tornados in the south

* And just this morning, elderly Christians told that they cannot pray / give thanks for the food they receive in a senior home.

And the list goes on…

I got the following note a few days ago…

I keep thinking that we will return to some kind of 'sensible' but the longer I live the more insane things seem to be getting, not just in the political world but in everything. I see posts on FB that make me just wanna throw up! Sometime I respond to folks I know but mostly I just shake my head and ask what's the use.....I have never felt so at a loss. So many people are so CLUELESS! Frankly I just wanna cry. I feel like I've just lived too long.

To say it plainly, God's favor is leaving this land.

Like the children of Israel, the people wanted a king. Fast forward to today and we are in the same situation. The people wanted change, well they got it.

We now have a man occupying the seat of a president. He doesn’t even pretend to be a God fearing man, which in one case that is good. But his decisions are effecting this nation; and this nation is paying the price.

Looking out upon the horizon, we can clearly see that this is just the beginning and the effects will last for years to come.

This last week many Christians met with their government officials and held a day of prayer. A day which has been deemed against the law based upon separation of church and state. But the people still prayed.

My honest fear though is that it is too late for this nation, our course has been set; what it take to turn this mighty ship around, well I just don’t see the people there who are needed.

Can God turn this nation?

Yes He can, but based upon scripture, we a people have turned our backs upon Him. Because of that act, God being a fair and just Lord must act.

Human greed has permeated even the churches where the dollar is praised over our God.

Corporate greed is such that people are being kicked out of their own homes, homes which they have paid for, but because the banks made mistakes, the land is seized and the families kicked out on to the street.

Sin is paraded around, all the while we shake our fists at God and spit in His Face.

* Drug use… up

* Alcohol consumption… up

* Prostitution… up

* Violence … up

* Crime … up

What we are witnessing is an empire in the final throws of decline. That empire was once a Christian nation whose foundations were that of Jehovah God and His Word, the Bible.

But we have strayed so far off the path, that it is virtually impossible for us to find our way back. The only way to go is forward and sleep in the bed that we have made for ourselves.

It is trials, tribulation and persecution that purifies the church.

I hate to be like the prophet Jeremiah, but that is where we are headed and there is no turning this ship around.

Our leaders and kings who we appointed will make sure that does not happen.

When we allow the lesser of two evils, we still reap evil, In this case it was not the lesser but the greater.

We now have a leader who is leading this nation to be cursed of God.

Genesis 12:3 (KJV) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

He is standing against Israel, the apple of God's eye. Because of that, our land is suffering and losing God's favor.

I am not a prophet nor the son of a prophet, but it does not take a prophet to realize that this nation is headed towards the ravenous storm.

There are those out there looking for God to rapture us out, problem is that much of this is our own doing and we as Christians allowed it to happen.

Will God rapture His church because we are living in the last days? Yes He will.

Will He rapture us out because we have made poor choices and been horrible stewards over what He has given us stewardship over? No He will not.

Scripture says…

Mat 25:26-30(KJV) His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Folks, there are times that I feel like I should be walking around with a placard saying "The End Is Near."

I have a heavy burden and a message that people do not want to hear. Instead everyone wants to learn about "Their Best Life Now" with sugar on top.

I wish that I could preach that, but my heart cries for the church and for this nation.

Like I have said, I do not claim to be a prophet, but I am a watchman standing upon the wall looking out towards the horizon.

What I see are hard times coming for this nation and her people. Now more than ever we need to ground ourselves in God's Word and root ourselves in with other solid bible believing Christians.

The storm is headed our way and like the hurricanes of the past, this one will reek havoc. It is those who are well anchored to the Rock who will weather the storm. It is those who like me have had the foresight to prepare his family, to "batten down the hatches" and store up for tomorrow.

I am one who stands upon the imminent return of The Lord and in fact he may come this next moment, but He may also tarry another 20+ years, we do not know.

What we need to do though is be the good steward and occupy till He returns.

The time is now to build your ark so that you and those you love can weather the coming storm.

I stand upon the wall and look out and what do I see?

The darkness that is upon this nation and it is only going to get darker.

I leave you with the following scriptures…

Ezekiel 3:17-21(KJV) Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Another Vexing Moment

Over the weekend I was hit with the following news headline…

Indiana: Grandma & Grandson Find Each Other, Fall In Love, Become Lovers And Pay $54,000 To A Surrogate Mom

I could not believe what I read and had to read it again just to make sure I was not reading it wrong.

Nope, that is what I read.

I started to scan the article and read the following…

 A 72-YEAR-OLD granny is having an incestuous affair with her own GRANDSON — and the pair are set to have a BABY, according to reports.

Grey-haired Pearl Carter has allegedly began a bizarre relationship with her 26-year-old grandchild Phil Bailey.

Pearl, from Indiana, is now using her pension to pay $54,000 (£35,000) to a surrogate mother so they can have a child, say reports in New Idea magazine in New Zealand. (1)

It was one more of those "vexing" moments.

Here is how Webster's dictionary defines Vex…

Vex
VEX, v.t. [L. vexo.]

1. To irritate; to make angry by little provocations; a popular use of the word.

2. To plague; to torment; to harass; to afflict.

I know that all of you have had these moment where you thought things have really gotten bad just to find out that something else rises from the muck and attains an even higher level of filth and debauchery.

Man left to his own devises never fails. The sinful nature of man will always seek out the bottom of the barrel slime and wallow in it. That is until he/she gets tired of that and seek out even deeper form of depravity.

How far will it go?

Only God knows.

I wonder what the people in the Indiana town think of this?

I have done a search and it is amazing the comments when I ran across a Yahoo Answers page.

KM&G  - Why should they be prosecuted? They aren't hurting anyone else.
They aren't making babies with his sperm/ her egg, so...

Mommy of 5 - I think the difference is (even though to me it's still gross) is that these 2 people never met until very recently, so they didn't have that life long bond of grandparent to grandchild.

Not sure if they have laws against it or not. Wouldn't change anything if there was a law. No reason to take up prison cells over it. In my state there is a WAITING list for jail they are so full.

I don't think they should be able to raise the child as mom and dad though. That would be beyond confusing for the child.

But what amazes me is that nowhere in the press or even in blogs have I seen any Christians stand up against this. Now I have not scoured the bowels of the internet, but doing a quick google search has not brought up anything.

Now knowing that there is nothing new under the sun, Paul had a similar problem, but this time it was taking place in the church or Corinth.

1 Corinthians  5:1 -13 (KJV)  It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

2  And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

3  For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

4  In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

5  To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

6  Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

7  Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

But what is worse is that the "world" gives people like this an out, by not making it their problem and thus not being accountable to God.

Pearl said: "I am finally going to be a mum and not forced to give up my child. Phil's going to be a great dad. I never in a million years thought at 72 I'd be 'pregnant' and in love with my grandson.

"I make no apologies and I believe God's given me a second chance."

Pearl says the relationship is not wrong after a friend told her about Genetic Sexual Attraction (GSA) syndrome, which occurs when close relatives meet as adults and find they are attracted to each other.

She said: "I could now understand my feelings and realize they weren't wrong." (1)

 So is that what we are calling incest today.. Genetic Sexual Attraction? Gee, when you hear it that way, it really does not sound that bad.

In reading Leviticus 18, we see that incest is called "wickedness."

Leviticus 18:6-19 tells us of incest, which is then followed by sodomy.

Leviticus 18:22 (KJV)  Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

And then followed by bestiality…

Leviticus 18:23 (KJV)  Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. 

In fact God calls all these acts abominations…

Leviticus 18:26 (KJV)   Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:

Leviticus 18:27 (KJV)   (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)

And the punishment for committing these vile acts…

Leviticus 18:29 (KJV)  For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

Leviticus 18:30 (KJV)  Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.

Folks, it amazes me the extent that this "Christian nation" has sunk down  to. There are days where I think to myself that it would be great to just move to some tropical island and open a taco stand. 

But it is funny, no matter what, I still think that no matter where I am, I could not stop shouting from the top of the walls.

The enemy wants to get us down, but what we need to do is fight back and say "No More!"

We as Christians have given up to much of the "high ground." We need to return to the ways of the Lord, his statutes, morals and simply obey His Word.

We are living in the last days of the last days,  we have a job to do and we have been lax at that job. The time is now to start boldly standing for the Lord and proclaiming HIM, The King of Kings. 

During the revolutionary war there was a popular saying, that was "No King but King Jesus!"

We need to return to serving the King and stop trying to be relevant to the World and her ways. We are to be the salt and light. We need to stand and expose this filth and debauchery instead of letting it stand and rotting our nation from it's very core.

Deceived, Deluded, and Lukewarm

Ray,
Attached is the article "Is Harry Potter the Son of God?"
As you'll note, it's a scholarly treatment of the subject and is extremely well researched and documented with extensive end notes.  (She takes after her father.)
While I hope that Abbey's theory is correct in that she will be known as the one who "broke the Harry Potter code," my greater prayer is that she is right for the sake of Rowling's millions of readers.  (Did you know that the Harry Potter books are the most read books by the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay?  Not to mention Wiccans everywhere.)
Also, if Abbey's theory is correct, Rowling will have succeeded (in spades) at what I attempted with my trilogy: putting the Gospel into the hands of the unsaved world.

This email was from a man I once knew named James (Jim) BeauSeigneuar.
Just in reading the email my mind was filled with questions. Kind of like a deer staring into the headlights wondering. What is this? Can this possibly be?
I opened the MS Word document titled “Is Harry Potter the Son of God?” By Abigail BeauSeigneur
By page two, my stomach was literally nauseated. The feeling of utter filth came over me in the treatment of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by this delusional and deceived woman’s “well documented” article.
What Abigail BeauSeigneur has tried to do is give “proof” that J.K. Rowling has hidden allegorical clues within the Potter books.
That is right, we are to see our Lord and savior through the allegorical use of witches, warlocks, demons and their realm of absolute evil and darkness.
What is wrong with this picture?
I have to say that when I was sent this article my heart sank for several reasons.

1. James BeauSeigneur is someone I once knew and I thought that I knew him well. I have even broke bread with him when he attended my conference in Alta Loma CA and he was a speaker.  We have spent some good times on the phone in fellowship and discussing Bible Prophecy and World Events. I have even used some of his articles in past issues of Prophezine.
2. How can anyone see Christ in the evil that the way witchcraft presents itself. Witchcraft in and of itself is ultimate selfishness. Witchcraft is real and it is through the extreme exertion of one’s own will is how they are able to tap in to this energy performing their un-godly acts.
3. How many souls are going to burn in hell because

a. A father allowed his daughter to be exposed to this abomination
b. Through this article the daughter has given “permission” to the weak and unsaved to indulge in this blasphemy
c. Geometrically the devastation to human souls is so large it is unable to be numbered and literally thousands if not hundreds of thousands will be lead astray.

The Thesis
Abigail BeauSeigneur’s logic and thought is so convoluted and twisted that she goes to great extremes to make her point. Here in the following she compares the scars on Harry Potters head as to those of Christ. She goes on showing how righteous this is by going even further with this insane thought trail. Abigail leaps to the forehead, then to the high priest and then the seals on the forehead?

“Harry’s scars on his head and hand may be intended to partially match Christ’s scars from his crucifixion. Rowling tells us that the shape of Harry’s lightening-bolt scar is not its most significant characteristic. Perhaps its significance is its location, his forehead.  There are several important references to forehead markings in the Bible.  The high priest was to wear upon his forehead a seal with the words “Holy to the Lord,” “so the Lord will accept the people.”  Additionally, the people of Israel were told to tie the commands of God to their hands and to wear them on their foreheads as reminders.  In Revelation, God will mark his followers’ foreheads with the seal of God, so that when locusts are sent upon the earth in judgment, those with the seal will not be harmed.”

Let me get this strait, Harry is a righteous man because he has scares on his forehead that MIGHT match Christ’s?
This just by itself is blasphemy and mocking the sacrifice of Christ. How can she compare the scares of a witch.. OH SORRY.. A warlock, to the scars of our Lord Jesus Christ who shed HIS precious blood so that we might live?
There is absolutely NO comparison and I am appalled that she could even make this sort of leap let alone the path she takes regarding the forehead and being sealed.
The following analogy is a prime example of the ignorance this woman has put forth. I am amazed that Abigail BeauSeigneur has the audacity to claim that the wand of a witch symbolizes   ”holiness and resurrection”.
She goes on to state…

“How can this not be a reference to Christ, who was sinless (holy) and rose again after being brutally crucified?”

Ok, I know, you can’t believe it either. So, Harry Potter’s wand is “holy” because it is made of holly. This woman is so delusional and deceived that I can not put words to it. Her leaps in thought are so induced by Satan, that it brings new heights in defining the word insanity.

A wand is a witch or wizard’s most important tool.  The wand that chooses its wizard, and it has a powerful connection to its owner.  We know that Rowling has chosen her wands with great care.  Hermione and Ron’s wand woods both correspond to their birth months, according to Celtic tradition.  On the other hand, Hagrid’s wand wood is representative of his character.
The wands of Harry and Voldemort give even more insight. Harry’s wand is made of holly and phoenix feather (an unusual combination, according to Ollivander, the wand maker); Voldemort’s is yew and phoenix feather. Though their owners are enemies, the wands are “brothers,” meaning that both have in their cores a feather from the same phoenix.  We know the symbolism of the wand woods directly from Rowling: 
“I gave Harry a wand made of holly wood . . .. It was not an arbitrary decision: holly has certain connotations that were perfect for Harry, particularly when contrasted with the traditional associations of yew, from which Voldemort’s wand is made. European tradition has it that the holly tree (the name comes from ‘holy’) repels evil, while yew, which can achieve astonishing longevity (there are British yew trees over two thousand years old), can symbolise both death and resurrection; the sap [of the yew] is also poisonous.”
Additionally, holly is associated with death and rebirth in pagan and Christian lore.
Harry’s wand core, which everyone seems to pay attention to only for the fact that it is related to Voldemort’s, has vital symbolism as well.  Phoenixes are mythical birds of resurrection; they repeatedly die (by bursting into flames), and are reborn. We have already seen this symbolism played out in Voldemort’s life.  He should have been killed by the rebounding killing curse that he cast at Harry.  However, he was able to just barely evade death, because he had created horcruxes, which held and protected pieces of his soul severed in the act of committing murders.  He existed for years as “less than spirit,” and was later able to resurrect himself through an “old piece of dark magic.”
Harry may also have the power to resurrect himself.  His wand symbolizes holiness and resurrection.  How can this not be a reference to Christ, who was sinless (holy) and rose again after being brutally crucified?

It is this sort of blasphemous logic that permeates the entire document.
But here is the crux of the matter.
When James BeauSeigneur contacted me I sent several emails refuting him caringly and with scripture… his response?

My heart sank and I truly cannot understand. I have sent other well written, well documented articles from other ministries and none of them have been addressed by Jim or his daughter Abby. Instead they sought out others who would publish this blasphemous document.
This document is now out for public consumption published and promoted by a very double minded ministry called Revelation Files ran by the Rev. John Terry.
Here is what the Rev. John Terry had to say about Abigail BeauSeigneur’s article.

“The article is well documented, and I do agree with Abbey that others like JRR Tolkein and CS Lewis effectively used magic and allegory in their writings.  Still, I have personal issues with the “darkness” of the Harry Potter series just on their face.”

The Rev. John Terry’s statements are the proverbial cover the rear end, by straddling both sides of the fence. His statements present a lukewarm view to an issue that God calls an Abomination and that we are to have no dealings with at all.
So basically if someone condones this work, he can state that he agrees. If someone refutes this work, he can state that he agrees. It is this sort of lukewarm Laodicean attitude that permeates the churches today. But worse there are “ordained ministers” who not only allow this sort of garbage, but put it out there to be consumed by the public.
I often write of the apostasy and falling away that is currently taking place in today’s churches. Never before has this topic hit so close to home.
Conclusion
It saddens me like never before that a young woman is so deceived and blinded.
It saddens me that a man I once called brother is so prideful that he worked to find someone to publish this blasphemy.
And finally it saddens me that an “ordained minister” gladly promoted this travesty for public consumption.
The cause and effect of this abomination is innumerable. In the minds of these three people all they see is an illusion of a false Christ that they are eager to lead people to.
But in reality, they are leading people to hell. In the end these three people are going to give an account for the lost souls who will burn in hell due to the actions, lack of discernment and true love and understanding of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Here is what God’s word says…

Gal 5:19-21(KJV)  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Lev 19:31 (KJV) Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God
Lev 20:6 (KJV) And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

While Christians are not to judge the person, Christians are to be fruit inspectors.

Mat 7:20  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

If the fruit of a person's teachings and prophecies are rotted in falsehood, Jesus says they are ravening wolves 

Mat 7:15  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Witchcraft, necromancy, soothsaying, and the practices of darkness are an abomination to God and He is very clear about this.

Deut 18:9-12 (KJV) There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord...

These three people have endorse this sort of attitude. Through their efforts they have “given permission” to many to stray and follow the work of the enemy.
By their actions, all three have condoned this abomination.
The light is not there….

Isaiah 8:20 (KJV) "to the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."
1John 2:4 (KJV)  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1John 2:15 -16 (KJV)  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

I pray that the actions of these three people and the multitude of others out their promoting and condoning the enemy’s tactics will have minimum affect. But based on the statistics of those who read and follow the Harry Potter series, I believe that Abigail’s article will only go to bolster the enemy’s deceptive inroads into the church.

God is not mocked and whatever a person sows, that will he reap.
Who Do You Serve?
Jesus stated the following…

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If you do not have Christ in your life, you will spend eternity in hell. This is a fact. It does not matter if you believe this or not, it is the truth spoken by Jesus himself. If your name is not written in the Lambs Book of Life you will go to hell for what you have not done and that is accepting Christ as your personal savior. To be placed in the Lamb Book of Life, you need to turn your life completely over to Him. Having “head” knowledge or “just believing in Christ” is not the same as having “heart” knowledge with Christ living in your heart.  We know that even the devils believe in Him, where are they spending eternity?

James 2:19 (KJV)  Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

We work hard at Prophezine to show that Bible Prophecy is coming to pass. Because of this fact, the Bible is true. Since the Bible is the true and inerrant word of God, there is a heaven and there is a hell.
If you claim the title of “Christian” then take account of yourself this day. Many claim the title, but we read in God’s Word that the title does not get you into heaven.

Mat 7:22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Who you serve will determine where you will spend eternity. If you are not serving Christ and a true child of God, then you are serving Satan and a child of the enemy.
If you are not 110% sure, then take account of yourself, your very life depends upon it.

The Romans Road and The Jerusalem Road To Salvation

In the past 50 or so years we as Christians have been losing much of our knowledge of the Bible. In other words we are becoming scripturally ignorant.

To prove that point, you can go to just about any church today and pick someone out randomly and they could not share the gospel with someone, nor do they have enough of a biblical understanding and knowledge to do this by scripture.

The answer that often comes out of someone's mouth when asked to share the gospel… "let me go get my pastor."

Sad thing is that in today's "sugar coated" world, many pastors also lack the same knowledge and can't share the gospel either.

In fact, most people today can rarely quote scripture at all save that of John 3:16. In fact the next time you hear someone quote it at work or on the street, ask them to then explain what it means, odds are they can't do that either.

Because of this I have felt the need to get back to some Bible basics and teach people how to share the gospel with both Jews and Gentiles.

Scripture says…

Romans 1:16 (KJV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Many have heard about the Romans Road to Salvation, but many do not know what scriptures to turn to so that they can walk someone through the plan of salvation scripturally.

Just to clarify, The Romans Road lays out the plan of salvation through a series of Bible verses from the book of Romans. When arranged in order, these verses form an easy, systematic way of explaining the message of salvation. When I am sharing the gospel, I use a modified form of the Romans Road, but before you can modify it yourself, you first need to know the basics. Anyone from missionaries, evangelists and lay people can memorize and use Romans Road when sharing the good news. In fact a good idea is to highlight all the scriptures used in the Romans Road so that you can jump to them easily. Also write a "crib note" of chapter and verses and paste them to the inside cover of your Bible so that you have that handy and in case you cannot remember the exact verse.

The Romans Road clearly defines:

• Who needs salvation.
• Why we need salvation.
• How God provides salvation.
• How we receive salvation.
• The results of salvation.

The Romans Road of Salvation

Everyone needs salvation because we have all sinned.

Romans 3:10 (KJV) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one

Romans 3:12 (KJV) They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

The consequence (the price) of sin is death.

Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus Christ died for our sins. He paid the price for our death.

Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

We receive salvation and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:10 (KJV) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved

Salvation through Jesus Christ brings us into a relationship of peace with God.

Romans 5:1 (KJV) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Romans 8:1 (KJV) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:38 (KJV) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Romans 8:39 (KJV) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Responding to The Romans Road

• Admit you are a sinner in need of a savior.
• Understand that as a sinner, you deserve death.
• Believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you from sin and death.
• Repent by turning from your old life of sin to a new life in Christ.
• Receive, through faith in Jesus Christ, his free gift of salvation.

The Jerusalem Road - How To Share The Gospel with Jews

Romans 1:16 (KJV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Often we forget that we need to share the Gospel with the Jews, they are God's Chosen people and the apple of His eye. But in spite of that, they are still sinners in need of a savior and when you talk to someone who is Jewish, they do not readily accept the New Testament. So how do you share the gospel with them? You use the Old Testament.

The method of using the Old Testament is often referred to as "The Jerusalem Road."

We often forget that Scripture tells us to take the Gospel to the Jew first and then also to the Greek. But it is often difficult to share the Gospel with the Jew because they do not see Jesus Christ as the messiah and the son of God. Because they will not readily accept the New Testament, using the Romans Road scriptures are difficult, like I said, the Jewish people do not recognize the New Testament.

The Jerusalem Road of Salvation

There is none without sin

Psalms 14:3 (KJV) They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Psalms 51:5 (KJV) Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Psalms 53:6 (KJV) Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

Good deeds cannot purify

Isaiah 64:6 (KJV) But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

God requires a blood sacrifice

Leviticus 17:11 (KJV) For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Applying the blood of the Messiah

Exodus 12:21 (KJV) Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.

Exodus 12:22 (KJV) And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

Exodus 12:23 (KJV) For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

Leviticus 16:15 (KJV) Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:

Leviticus 16:16 (KJV) And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

Leviticus 16:17 (KJV) And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.

Leviticus 16:18 (KJV) And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.

Leviticus 16:19 (KJV) And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.

Hebrews 9:12 (KJV) Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

There is safety and refuge in God's Messiah - Who is this Messiah?

He was born of a virgin

Isaiah 7:14 (KJV) Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

He was born in Bethlehem

Micah 5:2 (KJV) But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting

Slain for our sins

Isaiah 53:5 (KJV) But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 53:6 (KJV) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was resurrected

Psalms 16:10 (KJV) For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Once we have taken our Jewish friend down the Jerusalem Road, we can then introduce him or her to Jesus Christ and walk them down the Romans Road showing that Jesus did meet the requirements that were presented on the Jerusalem Road.

I encourage you to commit all these verses to memory, it is something that I am also doing.

1 Peter 3:15 says..

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:"

Folks, we are living in the last days of the last days, there are places in this world where you can be put to death for owning a Bible. As we are told in scripture, we need to be ready always to share the gospel in good times and in bad.

What would happen if our one source of God's Word was taken from us?

This is something that I often think of and when I do, a cold feeling goes down my spine. Can you imagine what it would be like if we did not have access to God's Word?

Say it can't happen here? Think again.

Daily the USA is pushing laws and regulations that are blatantly against our Christian faith and spit in the face of God.

Folks the time is coming where a KJV Bible will be a prized possession.

I encourage you to start committing scripture to memory. If something happens and you do not have access to scripture, you will have it committed to memory and in your heart where you can recall it always and it can never be taken away.

Finally I leave you with the great commission, the very words that our Lord and Savior gave to each and every one of us.

Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
